To design artwork for San Francisco-based The Cure tribute band Bloodflowers for their August 19th, 2022 show at Cellar Door. 

Collateral for this show also included a 24×36 “black and red” posters, 11×17 posters, which we also printed in the three assorted color palettes you see here. 

My original design, which I fought (and failed miserably to get approved) paid homage to my favorite The Cure album “Three Imaginary Boys”. The original photo I used to trace and vectorize the original poster mockup, remnants of which still remain in the final design was taken by legendary UK rock photographer Martyn Goddard. It was used in the artwork and sleeve of my favorite The Cure album, Three Imaginary Boys, released in 1979.
